The Lessons From The Fig Tree

We note from last week that Jesus had cursed the Fruitless Fig tree, and the disciples heard him. ⁃ Now the following day-, in the morning, they passed by the Fig tree, and guess who??? Peter noticed that THE FIG TREE HAD DRIED UP!!! Just 24 hours later, WHAAAAAT!!! What happened??? Really???!!! S o quickly!!!! ⁃ Yes, all the other disciples saw but were not alerted to understand.

They did not keep matters in their hearts to later make a Spiritual sense of them as Mary and Peter did! ⁃ Jesus encourages us to get from Him eye salves that we may see!! There is little point seeing when we have no spiritual understanding of what we have seen ⁃ Many read or ‘study’ the scriptures with their hearts closed! And so do not see the revelation light from it.

So how are we supposed to shine when our lamps are not burning? Like David in Ps 119, our prayers should be ‘BREAK OPEN YOUR WORD WITHIN MY HEART THAT YOUR REVELATION LIGHT MAY SHINE IN!!!’ Please Watch.
