‘We ARE what we Think!’ ⁃ What are you thinking? And how is it causing you to show up? ⁃ Are you troubled, angry, or anxious, or are you calm, peaceful, and assured? ⁃ Does life occurrences determine your mood and feelings? ⁃ Do people you live with, work with or share community with decide your level of Joy and Stability? ⁃ Decide to be a Thermostat rather than a Thermometer. ⁃ One reads the temperature while the other regulates the temperature.
Be in charge of your heart and how you show up. Luke 6:22-23 MSG “Count yourself blessed every time someone cuts you down or throws you out, every time someone smears or blackens your name to discredit me. -What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and that that person is uncomfortable. (It’s hardly ever about you!) -You can be glad when that happens—skip like a lamb, if you like!—for even though they don’t like it, I do . . . and all heaven applauds. -And know that you are in good company; my preachers and witnesses have always been treated like this.”
