1 Samuel 15:2-3, 7-12, 16-19, 22-23 MSG Text- 1 Samuel 15:26-29 MSG “But Samuel refused: “No, I can’t come alongside you in this. You rejected God’s command. Now God has rejected you as king over Israel.” As Samuel turned to leave, Saul grabbed at his priestly robe, and a piece tore off. Samuel said, “God has just now torn the kingdom from you and handed it over to your neighbor, a better man than you are. Israel’s God-of-Glory doesn’t deceive, and he doesn’t dither. He says what he means and means what he says.” Introduction- Psalms 33:12-13, 15 NKJV
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. He fashions their hearts individually; -He considers all their works.” Jeremiah 1:4-5, 7-8 NKJV
“Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, -And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.” Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
If one then fails to obey God, there would be Consequences!!
