God’s demand is that we put Him First- This shows commitment and leaves room for God to give to or do for us greater than our expectations. ⁃ The servant of Abraham, representing his master’s spiritual leadership in God’s program, asked that Rebecca give him water 💦 She drew water first for him and his camels before taking some home. ⁃ Elijah asked the widow of Zarephath to give him drink and food FIRST. She did. ⁃ Jesus asked the woman at the well to give him a drink first before drawing for herself.

David, the great king who best knew God’s heart ♥️ taught his son Solomon in Proverbs 4 to always place God first. He said forget Not his Teachings! ⁃ Jesus asked His disciples to follow Him, and He would MAKE them, and they did, leaving all. Today, the Lord is asking us for the same commitment
